This week has been an awesome week full of many many
miracles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant believe another
transfer has gone by!!!!!!!!!! On monday afternoon and night there was
a huge storm!!!!!!!!! There was lightning and thunder all afternoon
which i hate!!!!!!!!! There was also a tornado warning which was
really scary!!!!!!!!!!! The clouds were really dark and green and it
looked like there was going to be a tornado!!!!!!!!!!!!! We almost had
to cancel our lesson with Emmanuel that night but we didnt have
to!!!!!!!!! We got a ride to the house we were going to teach him at
and it was raining really hard outside!!!!!!!!!!! We made it back home
safe and sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On tuesday it was still raining outside,
we had district meeting in the morning which was great!!!!!!!!!! Then
we went and split up with the spanish missionaries!!!!!!!!!! I went
with Elder Nunez to go and teach a lesson which was really cool and
Elder Byington and Elder Taylor went to go tracting together so they
could talk to english and spanish people!!!!!!!!!!!! After that we
went to go tracting on a few streets and then we had dinner at the
Aguilars which was great!!!!!!!!!!!! On wednesday we had a great
day!!!!!!!! We spent the afternoon stopping by some less active
peoples house and that went pretty well!!!!!!!!!!! Then we had dinner
with the Korean family in the first ward which was really
good!!!!!!!!!!! They always take us to this really cool korean
restaurant which is really good!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then that night we got to
teach Sister Malm!!!!!!!!!!! I love her so much!!!!!!!!! She got
married to Brother Malm back in september and she has been going to
church with him ever since then!!!!!!!!!!! We taught her the
restoration on wednesday night and she loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!! She
already prepared for the lesson by reading the entire
pamphlet!!!!!!!!!!! She loved it when we shared the first
vision!!!!!!!!!! I love reciting it, it just brings in the spirit so
strongly!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that Jospeh Smith was a prophet and that
he restored the church back here on earth!!!!!!!! If he wasnt a
prophet then people would not feel the spirit when we recite the first
vision!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got leave a commitment for her to be baptized
the end of april and she is so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is from
Holland and she is 73 years old!!!!!!! My patriarchal blessing tells
me ill get to work with people of all ages and cultures on my mission
and that has been so true!!!!!!!! She baked us a cake before we got
there and she was dressed up all fancy for us!!!!!!!!! I love when
people get excited for us to come over!!!!!!!!!! I love this work so
much, its the best work anyone could ever do!!!!!!!!!!! On thursday we
had planning in the morning and then in the afternoon we got to meet
with Marcus, he is doing great!!!!!!!!!! We read Ether 12 and Hebrews
11 with him and got to talk a lot about faith!!!!!!!!!!! Faith is the
most important thing we can have because that is where our testimony
starts!!!!!!!!!!! Then we got to meet with Sister Jones at night and
we are still trying to get her to the temple!!!!!!!!!! On friday
morning we got to do service at the bishops storehouse!!!!!!!!!! I
love the storehouse so much and im so glad its in our area!!!!!!!!!!
There is always such a great spirit that you can feel when you go
there!!!!!!!!!! you just want to help out everyone that you
can!!!!!!!! Then in the afternoon we met with Brother
Karlovich!!!!!!!!! He is a less active member we have been working a
lot with!!!!!!!!! He has some word of wisdom problems!!!!!!!!!!!! this
is what he said to us when we walked in "elders i have an announcement
to make, I want to leave the mormon church" i was soooo sad when he
said that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked him to remember the
feelings he got when the missionaries taught him about the book of
mormon and Joseph Smith!!!!!!!!!! He said that he is going to  pray
about it before he makes any major decisions!!!!!!!!!!! Then that
night we got to meet with the Moreno family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite
family ever!!!!!!!!!!!! They are doing great!!!!!!!!! we got to teach
sister moreno and her sister the plan of salvation!!!!!!!! Sister
Moreno already knows it all!!!!!!!!!! Sister Morenos sister said that
she possibly wants to be baptized!!!!!!!!!! They just werent at church
on sunday which was way sad!!!!!!!!!!!!! On saturday we just had a
whole day of tracting which was great!!!!!!!!! we got to talk to some
pretty interesting people hahaha. Then saturday was transfer calls
night!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was pretty sure that elder byington and i werent
going to get transferred because they have the new 12 week training
program thing so i knew that we were going to be together for two
transfers so i could finish training him!!!!!!!!! We got a call from
Elder seager and it was like 10:00 at night and i was like oh my gosh
what?!?!?!?!!?!?! So i answered the phone and Elder Seager said that
neither of us are getting transferred but i have a new
assignment.....im going to be the new district leader for my
district!!!!!!!!!!!! we will see how this goes, im kind of scared and
kind of excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then yesterday we had a great day at
church!!!!!!!!!!! I love hearing everyones testimonies during fast and
testimony meeting!!!!!!!!!! We get to hear two testimony meetings, one
of the cool things of covering two wards!!!!!!!!!! Then on sunday
night we taught some new member lessons which was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope y'all are loving the spring weather!!!!!!!!! It has been really
nice in texas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so thankful for the oppurtunity
that I get to be a missionary and a representative of Jesus
Christ!!!!!!!!!!! Its great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great week and
