Well this week has flown by super fast but it was an awesome
week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On tuesday we went to district meeting
which was good and we talked about inviting people to church which i
always like to talk about because getting people to church is one of
the things that I have struggled with my entire mission so
far!!!!!!!!!!!! But after district meeting and lunch, Elder Byington
and I rode our bikes down to south Carrollton in Korea
town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is a part of Carrollton that has all korean
restaurants and markets and stuff!!!!!!!!!! Well there is a lady that
just moved into the Second Ward and she just opened a korean
restaurant down there and the ward has been telling us to stop by
because she is less active!!!!!!!!!!! She we stopped by and she is
sooooo mega nice!!!!!!!!!! She sat us down at a table and she gave us
this really good lemon honey korean drink (dont worry theres no tea in
it, i asked haha) and we talked with her for a little bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She is really interested in coming back to church and having her two
daughters learn more about the church and she wants them to be
baptized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The restaurant got kind of busy so she had to
keep getting up to take care of the customers!!!!!!!!!! Right now she
is the only hostess/cashier/waitress in the restaurant until she hires
more people!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are going to eat there with some members
this week and it will be great!!!!!!!!!!! We also got her in contact
with a korean lady in the First Ward and she is going to invite her to
a lunch that the korean sisters go to every month
together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on tuesday night we got to meet with the
Morenos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite family ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are
still working with Sister Moreno and helping her recognize the spirit
that she felt when she made the commitement to be
baptized!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cool thing is that Sister Morenos twin
sister just moved into their apartment complex about two weeks
ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We helped her move in and I have been praying to
have Sister Moreno become interested in the church again and I know
that this will help!!!!!!!!!!!! We got to teach her and her sister the
restoration on tuesday night and it was great!!!!!!!!!!!! There is
always such a great spirit when the first vision is
recited!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her Sister is going to read and pray about the
Book of mormon, she is really interested in learning more about the
church!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that they both felt the spirit on Tuesday
night, Brother Moreno was really excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then on tuesday night we went on exchanges!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So all day
on wednesday i was over with Elder Bytendorp over in his
area!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They cover the Dallas 6th ward!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had a great day and we got to meet a lot of really great people and
share the gospel with them!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on wednesday night we
exchanged back and i was so excited to be back in
carrollton!!!!!!!!!!!!! On thursday morning we had planning but then
in the afternoon we got to meet with Marcus which was
awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We read Helaman chapter 5 with
him!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really love that
chapter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are promised that we can go
through anything as long as we center our lives around Jesus Christ
our savior!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then at night time we met with
the Malms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brother Malm is an older member in the Second
ward and he just got married to this lady in Septemeber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She has been coming to church with him ever since then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So we went over and talked a little bit about the book of mormon and
the restoration and she is interested in learning more and she wants
to be baptized when she knows that its true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We
have another appointment with them this week which im excited
for!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on friday we had a meeting with all the
missionaries in the Metroplex and President Durrant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It
was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got to give a training on the teaching
record!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE the teaching
record!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It such a great tool that the Lord has given to
us for our investigators and less active families!!!!!!!!!!!! The
meeting was great and we talked a lot about our planning and the
records that we are keeping!!!!!!!!!!!! On saturday we spent the day
in Castle Hills which is the really wealthy part of
carrollton/lewisville!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a really cool neighborhood
and it reminds me of Newport Coast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is this
street inside the nieighborhood thats gated and its called Enchanted
Hill and I have heard that some dallas cowboys live in
there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We tried to get in but they wouldnt let
us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then Sunday was an awesome day at
church!!!!!!!!!! I always love going to church and seeing all the
members!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This week was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I

This week was a great week except it went by super
fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On tuesday we had a multi district
meeting with our zone in the morning which was great!!!!!!!!! We went
over how we can be more effective with our planning and it went
great!!!!!!!!!! Planning is one of my favorite things to do because we
get to focus on organizing things and we get to plan for
miracles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then afterwards we all had lunch
which was great!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we had dinner with familia de
aguilar which was great!!!!!!!!! I always love eating at their house
on tuesday nights!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are never going to believe where
we went after dinner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went to the Jehovah
Witness kingdom hall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A jehovah witness has
been studying with one of the less active members in one of our wards
that we have been working with!!!!!!!!!! She invited us to come and
she said she would come to our church if we go and check it
out!!!!!!!!!!! So we went that night with some other
missionaries!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the sister missionaries in the zone
has been really wanting to go so the sisters came also!!!!!!!!!!! It
was very interesting!!!!!!!!!!! They do a lot of roleplays just like
how we do!!!!!!!!!!!!! As soon as the meeting was over and we stood
up, all of the members of the congregation came rushing up to
us!!!!!!!!!!!!! They started talking with us and telling us all about
their religion!!!!!!!!!!!! I invited a lot of them to church on sunday
but they all said that they were not able to go to other church's, it
didnt make any sense because we were there at their church!!!!!!!!!!!!
On wednesday we were in dallas all day because we had a new missionary
meeting that all the trainers and their new missionaries were
at!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love having meetings
with President Durrant because we learn so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since we
are in the city now, we get to take the train to all the meetings in
dallas!!!!!!!!!!! most of the missionaries that are in the city take
the train to meetings!!!!!!!!! We had to ride our bikes really fast in
the morning because we almost missed our train!!!!!!!!!!!!! When we
got out of the meeting we missed our bus to take us to the train
station so we had to wait awhile for another bus!!!!!!!!!!! I love
taking the DART, its the best because you get to talk to everyone on
there!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on thursday we got to meet with Marcus and he
is still doing great!!!!!!!!!!!! On saturday we got to have studies in
the morning with President Blake (carrollton stake president) which
was so uplifting!!!!!!!!!!!!! We talked a lot about Alma and his
missionary work and a lot about how the Lord has us in the place that
we are supposed to be in!!!!!!!! It made me feel really happy because
I really love Carrollton and I know that I was meant to come
here!!!!!!!!!! Even though there arent too many baptisms here and its
sometimes hard to find investigators, I still love it here!!!!!!!!!!!
I know that the Lord is guiding me in my work and He will lead me to
the people that are ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then after studies we had a
great day planned except it started pouring rain
outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats one of the disadvantages of being a
bike missionary, rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least all of
our appointments were pretty close to our house so we could walk to
our appoiontments with our umbrellas!!!!!!!!!!!! Its not too fun
riding bikes in the rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It rained again on sunday but
we were in church all sunday morning and afternoon so it was
ok!!!!!!!!!!! We had family night at the Starks house last night for
an hour which was great!!!!!!!!!! We got to share a message with the
entire extended family and a lot of them are not members of the
church!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we went to go and visit some people last night
and then came home for bedtime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a
great week and we got to visit with a lot of awesome
people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I aboslutely love being a
missionary and I am so thankful for this
opportunity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of us are able to have the spirit
guide our lives, all we need to do is to ask for it and to be worthy
to have it with us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you all and I hope you

This week has most definitely been a great week except it went by
super fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry about not having an email
update last week!!!!!!!!!! The internet was broken here at the library
so i couldnt send any emails, it was bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But we started the week off with tracting in some apartments on monday
night!!!!!!!!!!! Every time i ride my bike past these apartments I
always get this feeling from the spirit that there is someone in there
ready to learn about the gospel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we
decided to go tracting there monday night and when got to about the
tenth apartment we knocked on the door and this man came out and said
he works for security and he said he was going to issue us a ticket if
he sees us tracting there again!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so sad because I
know there is someone there ready to be found and satan is trying to
keep us out of there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on tuesday we had district
meeting and then that night we had dinner with the family in the
spanish ward again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its
fun talking with them because I have already learned SOOOO much
spanish from being here in texas!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sometimes secretly
want to be a spanish missionary but all the english missionaries will
kill me if i say that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on wednesday we got to
stop by Sister Beathard and share a message with her!!!!!!!!! She is a
lady in the second ward and she is so nice!!!!!!!!! She is just going
through a lot of health problems right now and she is kind of
old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always love to visit widows and to bring the
spirit into their home and sit by them at church, i always want to
make other people happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we
helped Sister Morenos sister move into their apartment
complex!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sister Moreno is a lady that has been taught by
missionaries for like 3 years now, she is the only non member in her
family!!!!!!!!!! I love her so much and I want to see her be
baptized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been praying for opportunites for her
to be interested in the church and I think her sister moving in is
going to help a lot!!!!!!!!!!!! Her and her twin sister who is a non
member also, was at church yesterday and it was so great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After we finished moving her in we all went to chilis and had dinner
and then we went back out to tracting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On thursday we
got to meet with Marcus which was great and then we had dinner at
President Blakes house (the stake president of the carrollton stake)
and that was a ton of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then our
ward mission leader in the second ward took us out at night to visit
some people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then friday came around the
corner, the day i have been waiting for forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My
grandparents on my moms side were sealed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since
my grandma officially died a year ago we could do the work for
her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We met President and Sister Durrant at the temple
in the morning!!!!!!!!!!! Elder Taylor and Elder Nunez came too (the
missionaries in the spanish ward) I did the baptism for my grandpa and
Dianna (The durrants daughter) did the baptism for my
grandma!!!!!!!!!!! Then we did the confirmations and then we went over
to do the endowment!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did the endowment for my grandpa
and Sister Durrant did it for my grandma!!!!!!!!!!!! Then afterwards
we did the sealings!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that my grandma and grandpa
are now sealed and I am so thankful for the opportunity that we have
temples on earth to do this work!!!!!!!!!!!!! During the sealing when
I was holding Sister Durrants hand, I felt like I was holding my
grandmas hand!!!!!!!!!! I am never going to forget this
day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on saturday we tried to contact some
referrals!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and then sunday came and it was fast
sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love fast and testimony meetings!!!!!!!!!! I
always love to hear peoples testimonies!!!!!!!!!! Everytime i teach I
always ask the person we are teaching to bear their testimony about
Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This week was most definitely a spiritual
and great week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope all of you are
striving to be like Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have an

Well this week was most definitely an interesting
week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On monday we all went out to lunch as a
zone to a brazilian steakhouse and it was soooo
good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on tuesdays it was transfers and i got
to pick up my brand new missionary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So in the
morning we went to transfers and I had to go to a meeting for the
trainers and that was way great!!!!!!!!!!!! It was great to hear from
President Durrant!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then i found out my new companion, his
name was Elder Sproul and he is right from the mtc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We got back to our area and he put his bags down and then I told him
about the area and our investigators and we went out to
work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a great day and then we got
back to the house at night and he told me he is allergic to cats and
the Starks (the family we live with) have a cat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All
night long he was weezing and sniffling and coughing and i was so
scared that he was going to die!!!!!!!! I didnt know what to
do!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted him to have a great first day and I thought i
was going to be a horrible trainer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We called Sister
Durrant the next morning and she said that a transfer may have to take
place!!!!!!!!!!!! She told me this story about how when we pray and
pray for thingsn Heavenly Father answers our prayers but in weird ways
sometimes!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess Elder Sproul heard all about me in the
mtc and when he got to texas which im mad about because I dont want
people glorifying me, im a servant of the
Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so he prayed for me to be his
trainer and so Heavenly Father answered his prayer, but for only a
day!!!!!!!!!!!!! So on Wednesday there was an emergency
transfer!!!!!!!!!!!!! Elder Sproul went up to frisco and Elder
Byington came down to Carrollton with me, they just traded
places!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Elder Byington is a brand new missionary also, he
came with Elder Sproul from the mtc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that this
was Heavenly Fathers plan!!!!!!!!!!!!! So on wednesday I had to go
over the area again with Elder Byington and he got to Carrollton just
in time for our dinner appointment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then
that night we set up his bike and got him ready to be a
missionary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thursday was planning day which was
good because we got to go over the area and talk more about our
investigators and how we can find more people to teach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then in the afternoon we got to meet with Marcus which was
great!!!!!!!!!!! We read this article with him from the BYU Magazine
about the atonement!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a great talk, I suggest all of
you to read it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It talks about how Jesus
Christ will help all of us as long as we follow him and try to be like
him!!!!!!!!!!!!! We never need to worry because he is always there to
help us and he is never going to leave us alone!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on
friday it was Elder Byingtons first time teaching the restoration and
he did great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Elder Hedberg and I found these
investigators last week while we were tracting and they are a great
family except they arent too interested, they just want to "learn
more" So we taught them the restoration and I know that they felt the
spirit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They said that they have had missionaries at
their house before and they met with them for like a
year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on saturday we had a mega interesting
event!!!!!!!!!!!! We went to go visit Sister Jones, the revent convert
we are trying to get to the temple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We knocked on the
door and she let us inside and guess who was in there?!?!?!?!!?!? A
JEHOVAH WITNESS MISSIONARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was soooo
excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been waiting for my entire mission
to talk to one!!!!!!!!!!! I got to talk to her for a little bit and we
shared about our faith and it was great!!!!!!!!!!!! A lot of
missionaries like to Bible Bash with them but I HATE bible bashing and
I never do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its good to have a love for everyone,
no matter what they believe in!!!!!! Sister Jones has been meeting
with this missionary for like 7 months now, shes not going to that
church but she just likes to study the bible with people!!!!!!!!!!!!
she is great, i love her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When we got outside it
was pouring rain really badly so we had to bike home in it and we got
soaked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats the only time when its not fun to be a
bike missionary, good thing it wasnt at night!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then that
night we went knocking doors out in the rain with our umbrellas which
was a lot of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday was
great!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the speakers in church talked about trails
and they said that we should treat our trials like gold and it really
got me thinking about that!!!!!!!! We really should!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our
Heavenly Father gives all of our trials for us so that we can learn
from them and He makes our trials uniquely for us!!!!!!!!!!!! So
trials are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so thankful for every single
trial that Heavenly Father has put in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No
matter how hard they have been, I know that I have learned great
things from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Always stay positive and Always
Remember Jesus Christ and all the trials that he went
through!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great week

This week was great but I cant believe that it was already the last
week of the transfer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another transfer has come and
gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont want my mission to go this
fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So i will tell you the results of what
this next transfer is going to be like at the end of the
email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So this past week was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! On
tuesday we had a mega surprise at our district meeting!!!!!!!! When we
got to the building i had to go to the bathroom really bad because I
drank a lot of water that morning so i was in the bathroom while the
rest of the district waited in the hall!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since i basically
run everywhere as soon as i got out of the bathroom I started running
down the hall and as soon as I got to the end of the hall and turned
the corner President Durrant was standing right there!!!!!!!!!! So i
immediately stopped and said hello to President Durrant and Sister
Durrant, it was a HUGE surprise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They came to join our
district meeting!!!!!!!!!!!!! It went great!!!!!!!!!! Then that night
we went on exchanges!!!!!!!!! I went over the Dallas 6th wards area
and it was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love their area!!!!!!!!!!! They
have a bunch of high rise buildings and apartment buildings and they
are all so cool and high tech!!!!!!!!!!!! we met with some great
people and we got to go tracting in HUGE apartment buildings which I
LOVE doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had to wake up early in the
morning though because we were supposed to go to seminary and we ended
up getting there at 6:30 and it ended up being canceled which i was
mad about so we just came home and started our day early which was
great!!!!!!!!! Then on thursday we got to meet with Marcus again (the
man who cant speak) which was so mega cool, he is doing great, we read
an ensign article with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we had
dinner with the moreno family which was great also!!!!!!!! They are a
part member family we have been working with and they are such nice
people!!!!!!! We wtached the Testaments with them after dinner which
was the best and the spirit was there so strong!!!!!!!!!! On friday we
spent the day in the little bit of dallas that we have in our area so
we could go and visit some people!!!!!!!!!!! we ended up knocking on
the wrong door in the apartment building and we went inside and taught
this man which was great!!!!!!!!! The man we were going to visit
smokes a lot so my companion told me to leave everything that i dont
want to smell like smoke by the bikes!!!!!!!!!!! so i was debating if
i should leave my jacket out there or not and for some reason there
was something that kept telling me i should!!!!!!!! I ended up leaving
my jacket there and when we got out to our bikes there was a note
there!!!!!!!!!! Theres a member that lives in the apartment building
that has been there for 6 months and doesnt know where church is and
she saw my name tag on my jacket and knew that we were missionaries
and she left a note for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know the spirit told me
to leave my jacket out there by the bikes!!!!!!!!!!! On saturday we
had a great day and we got to teach some really great people that we
just found!!!!!!!!!!! it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited to
start teaching one of the families!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then saturday
night was transfer call night!!!!!!!!! We ended up getting a call from
President Durrant when we were in the middle of dinner at a members
house!!!!!!!!!!! they told us to call him back before we gave the
spiritual thought!!!!!!!!!!! and I found out that Elder Hedberg is
leaving me and im training this transfer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can
you believe that?!?!?!?!!?!?!?! I am SOOOOOOOOO
nervous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i still feel like im a new missionary and now
im getting a brand new missionary straight from the mtc!!!!!!!!!!!! im
really excited but im also soooooo nervous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So on
sunday elder hedberg went to say goodbye to a lot of families which
was sad!!!!!!!!!!! Im gonna miss him a lot!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so
thankful for missionary work!!!!!!!!!!!!! We truly get to see miracles
everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it is so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This next
transfer is going to be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My new missionary is
going to be the best missionary in the Texas Dallas
Mission!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great week

Well this week was definitely another great week down here in
Carrollton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so thankful for the opportunity i get
to serve the Lord every single day!!!!!!!!!!!! On tuesday we got to
have a multi district meeting with our whole zone which was
nice!!!!!!!!!!! Since the Carrollton stake isnt very big compared to
the other stakes in the mission we get to get together with our zone
every week!!!!!!!!! And we all get to study together on Monday
mornings!!!!!!!!!!!! Since tuesday was Hermana Reina's year mark we
went out to lunch after district meeting to celebrate!!!!!!!!!!! We
ate at this restaurant called Abuelos which was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even though Im serving an english speaking mission I still get to be
around so many hispanic people so im learning a lot of spanish
also!!!!!!!!!!! Then after lunch we just did some tracting around the
stake center which was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! It was sooooo mega hot on
tuesday, it felt like it was summer again!!!!!!!!!!! But now its back
to being cold, the weather here in texas is wacky!!!!!!!!!!!!! On
tuesday night we were riding our bikes back home and we stopped in
this parking lot because Elder Hedberg needed to get something out of
his backpack!!!!!!!!!!!! It turns out there was a mcdonalds in the
parking lot and there was a huge picture of a strawberry milkshake in
the window!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (dont worry there is a cool missionary
experience from this story) I was wanting a milkshake all day!!!!!!!!!
and we didnt feel like locking up our bikes to go inside so guess what
we did!!?!?!?!!?!? I came up with the idea to go through the drive
through on our bikes!!!!!!!!!!! Since the speaker thing picked up the
metal on our bikes the lady asked what we wanted and I checked to make
sure it was all right if we went through on our bikes and she said it
was fine!!!!!!!!!!!!! So when i rode up to the window to pay and get
my milkshake everyone in mcdonalds was laughing and they all said that
they love mormon missionaries now!!!!!!!!! We passed out a ton of pass
along cards and they all said they are going to check out the website
and we even got a refferral for the singles ward!!!!!!!!!!!! It ended
up being a great night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on wednesdsay it
ended up being cold outside again!!!!!!!!!!!! We have really been
working on finding people lately, even though we arent having too much
success I know that the Lord has people prepared for us and we will
find them when they are ready!!!!!!!!!!! Thats one thing thats
different about being closer to the city!!!!!!!!! The people arent as
open to hearing about the gospel as they were in my last
area!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On friday night we got to stop by Robert's
warehouse with our ward mission leader and go and visit with
him!!!!!!!!! He is doing great except he still has word of wisdom
problems!!!!!!!!!!! Our ward mission leader went by and dropped him
off some clothes on saturday so that he can have some clean clothes to
wear!!!!!!!!!!! I love teaching the gospel to people!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even
though knocking on doors all day doesnt sound too fun, it is soooo
much fun, i LOVE tracting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are working hard to
find people to teach and I know that the Lord will put us in their
path, we just need to work hard and be patient!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I
have really been focusing on patience these past few weeks!!!!!!!!!!
The Lord has a much different version of time then we do!!!!!!!! We
want things to happen fast but we really need to be patient and let
the Lord allow things to happen when He feels its time to
happen!!!!!!!!! I hope all of you have a great week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week has been a fantastic week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the
beginning of the week we had some rain and its very interesting being
a bike missionary when it rains!!!!!!!!!! On tuesday night it started
pouring!!!!!!!! Even though it was pouring we still went out and
worked!!!!!!!!!!!! My whole entire body just ended up getting soaking
wet, good thing i didnt bring my backpack or everything inside of it
would have gotten ruined!!!!!!!!!!! All i had with me was a book of
mormon and i kept it in the back of my pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on
wednesday it was still raining but it wasnt as bad, it was just
sprinkling which was good!!!!!!!!!!! We were out tracting on wednesday
and we came up to this one guys door and for some reason I felt so sad
when we were standing at the door!!!!!!! We knocked on it and the guy
answered and he was like "i worship the devil!!!" and then i realized
why i felt so sad!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to ask the guy if we can share
a message of happiness with him and to help him feel joy in his life
but he kept saying all the satanic things!!!!!!!!!! that really made
me realize that there are so many people out there that are lost and
it is up to us and the spirit to help them feel joy!!!!!!!!!!! i am so
thankful for the spirit and the comfort it brings to our lives and the
happiness we can feel from it!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so thankful to be a
missionary for the Lord's church!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On thursday we got to
meet with this great lady named Sister Jones (She isnt related to Carl
because shes black) she is hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she got baptized a
couple years ago and she is so enthusiastic about the gospel, i LOVE
it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She hasnt been going to church lately
because of medical reasons but she will soon!!!!!!!!!!!! She has been
having the Jehovah Witnesses come over and she ends up teaching them
all about the church, she is great!!!!!!!!!!! She wanted us to talk
with her about the 144,000 that it talks about in the book of
Revelations, so we did and it went great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we
talked a little bit about her going to the temple!!!!!!!!!! She has a
recommened except she calls it her endowment which is
hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when we asked her about it she realized
that she lost it so she spent like 20 minutes running around her
apartment yelling "where is my endowment?!?!?!!? i am not going to bed
tonight until i find it!!!!!!!" she found it so it was all ok!!!!!!!!
She has had her recommend for a year and a half and she has still not
gone to the temple with it!!!!!!!!! She is a great example of patience
to me!!!!!!!!!!!! She is gonna go in the next few weeks but she wanted
to wait until she felt all the way ready!!!!!!!!!!! she is an awesome
lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on saturday we spent the day in dallas
finding some new people and visiting less active people which was
great!!!!!!!!!! And sunday was great also because we got to stop by
some other people!!!!!!!!!! Its been a hard week for the Starks (the
family we live with) because their nephew just passed away!!!!!!!!!!
His mom is in the first ward!!!!!!!!!!!! The funeral is going to be
this thursday!!!!!!!!!!!! He was helping someone by giving them gas on
the side of the road because their car ran out and a car hit him, i
couldnt believe it when i heard the story. he is such a great example
to me!!!!!!!!!! we should always serve people!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well I
